Beijing Anzhen Hospital's Tongzhou campus ready to open

After four years of construction, the Tongzhou Campus of Beijing Anzhen Hospital is currently under orderly preparation work and is set to open in late October. The hospital is part of a project to optimize the layout of the Beijing Municipal Administrative Center.

The campus includes a one-stop outpatient service center that covers registration, medical insurance, outpatient record management and expedited test report printing.

The building's design is influenced by the "one-minute walking circle" concept, which makes moving around the hospital convenient for patients. The five-story outpatient building, comprising four above-ground and one below, is segmented into zones with signals of the English letters ABCD so that patients can find their way effortlessly.

The smart pharmacy boasts an intelligent distribution system, which can shorten dispensing time to within 20 seconds. Patients can benefit from a medicine retrieval process that is no longer than 2 minutes.

The new campus' combined floor space spans about 340,000 square meters and has a capacity of 1,300 beds. Boasting state-of-the-art medical infrastructure, a stellar medical team, and a dedication to healthcare provision, the hospital stands resolute in its mission to deliver efficient, convenient, and top-tier medical services to its patients.
