Power grid facilitates rural revitalization in Quzhou, Zhejiang province
On Oct 12, at the overhaul and technical renovation site of the 10-kilovolt Xingfu Line in Shifang village, located in Hechun town, Jiangshan city, Quzhou, Zhejiang province, more than 20 power construction staff members of State Grid Quzhou Power Supply Company were busily working in an orderly manner, steadily promoting the replacement of old suspension porcelain insulators and the installation of arresters, further optimizing the power supply radius and improving the stability, safety and efficiency of lines and equipment operation.
It is understood that this line was put into operation in 1999. It is long, with much of the equipment aging to disrepair. Poles No 7-11 cross mountain forest areas with large line spans and difficult operation and maintenance are especially in need of replacement. Therefore, State Grid Quzhou Power Supply Company carefully organized the design and formulated a detailed construction plan. Methods such as replacing old lines, replacing old poles, replacing old suspension insulators, replacing and installing gap arresters and replacing ordinary switches on the line were adopted to overhaul and transform the line.
On the morning of the same day, under the work arrangement of the person in charge of the work, the line rectification work officially kicked off. After taking all safety measures before construction, the power construction staff members were fully motivated. Overcoming difficulties such as tight working time for multiple teams to carry out work in sequence and large line spans, they made concerted efforts to tackle difficulties. They were divided into multiple routes to carry out collaborative operations and made every effort to accelerate the line transformation project. At the same time, relevant responsible persons of the company were on duty to supervise on-site safety production, improve the quality and efficiency of transformation, and enhance the power consumption satisfaction of the people. In this line overhaul and transformation, a total of 1.1 kilometers of lines were transformed, 75 pieces of old suspension porcelain insulators were replaced, 18 sets of gap line arresters were replaced and installed, and two pole-mounted circuit breakers were replaced. Four places of line trees were cleared. After the transformation is completed, it not only effectively improves the safe and stable operation level of the line, but also enables villagers to use more safe and reliable electric energy.
The 220-kilovolt Jiuhua Substation located in Kecheng district, Quzhou is under intensified construction. The operation of this project can fundamentally strengthen the power supply load in surrounding areas such as Shiliang town and Jiuhua township, and strengthen the power grid structure in this area, providing powerful power support for helping rural revitalization. State Grid Quzhou Power Supply Company closely focuses on doing a good job in power grid operation and maintenance and power supply services to help the construction of beautiful and harmonious rural areas, continuously consolidates the power grid foundation and continuously improves power quality. Through actively implementing the rural power grid consolidation and improvement project, it has greatly improved the rural power grid structure and improved the rural power grid equipment level and power supply service level.
In recent years, adhering to the concept of operation and maintenance running ahead of failures, the company has made great efforts to accelerate the construction of power grid infrastructure, focusing on upgrading and transforming rural power grids, and striving to solve problems such as weak rural power grid structures and aging lines and equipment, further improving user power supply reliability and power quality, and ensuring that people's power consumption is more safe and reliable.
