State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company: Take multiple measures to dispel 'range anxiety' of new energy vehicles

On October 17, State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company organized staff members to visit Henan's first "solar storage, charging, discharging and inspection" integrated smart charging station located in the Jiaozuo High Tech Zone. The charging station has a total of 76 car charging piles, including 2 liquid-cooled supercharging parking spaces, 56 fast-charging parking spaces and several bidirectional DC charging parking spaces. It is the city's latest concept, the largest scale, the most advanced equipment, and the most comprehensive supporting functions of a supercharging station.

The construction of charging infrastructure is connected to both industrial development and public transportation. According to statistics from the Ministry of Public Security, by the end of June this year, the total number of new energy vehicles in China increased to 24.72 million, accounting for 7.18 percent of the total number of vehicles. The huge scale of new energy travel has put forward higher demands for the construction of charging infrastructure. Whether driving new energy vehicles can travel without "range anxiety" largely depends on whether the planned charging facilities are complete. It is reported that Jiaozuo city will build more than 180 centralized public charging stations by 2025. State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company has put in a lot of effort to provide better power supply services during the construction and operation of these charging stations.

In order to promote the vigorous development of the new energy industry, State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company has coordinated and optimized its layout, accelerated the upgrading and transformation of the power grid and calculated the demand for electricity from charging stations, this has done the job of connecting the various charging grassroots facilities to the grid. It actively connects with customers' electricity needs and improves their sense of gain through process acceleration, electricity cost reduction, and extended services.

During this year's National Day holiday, State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company organized staff members to conduct safety inspections of 16 privately-owned charging stations in advance, promptly eliminating safety hazards and ensuring the safe and reliable use of electricity during the holiday period. For domestic tourist attractions; highway service areas and social public charging stations with high traffic will be installed on both sides of national highways, 15 service teams will be arranged to provide service docking and daily inspections, the timely ability to solve existing electricity problems, ensure reliable power supply and normal vehicle charging, dispel the "range anxiety" of new energy vehicle travel and fully serve the green travel for the public.
