The lines of the famous bone-pattern outer sole of the brand's iconic footbed - interweave in a layered design, applied in the visual presentation of the store's facade and interior flooring. Sichuan's Red sandstone, bamboo, and wood were used as natural materials for different functional areas.

The short video introduction of the iconic footbed that used Chinese calligraphy on a large LED screen covered by a piece of silk, to honor Chengdu's Silk Road history. The brand embeds craftsmanship and natural elements in the details, aiming for every customer to immerse themselves in the world of Birkenstock and experience how craftsmanship and quality "Made in Germany" come to life, and completely to feel slow living and the brand's philosophy upon entering the store.
