Wuhu station successfully completes circuit breaker replacement project

The completion of the operation to switch on the 500kV Wusheng 5750 line and 5052 switch at 17:45 on Nov 30 marked the successful conclusion of the 13-day replacement of 500kV 5041 and 5052 circuit breakers at the 1000kV UHV Wuhu station, bringing to a close of the autumn inspection work at the UHV Wuhu station.

The UHV Wuhu Station, which began operations on Sept 25, 2013, serves as the pivotal substation for the East China UHV AC/DC power grid. It plays a crucial role in supporting industrial and agricultural production, as well as residential electricity consumption in the East China region.
