State Grid Liaocheng Power Supply Company: Guarding charging piles to ensure a smooth 'range' for travel
During the Spring Festival holiday, many new energy vehicle owners chose to self-drive. Staff members from the State Grid Liaocheng Power Supply Company visited various tourist scenic spots and highway charging stations to conduct comprehensive inspections on charging piles. Safety hazard checks were thoroughly conducted to ensure a smooth travel experience for new energy vehicle users.
On Feb 3, at the new energy vehicle charging station located in the Liaocheng Service Area of the Ji-Liao Expressway, the staff members of the State Grid Liaocheng Power Supply Company conducted a comprehensive inspection of the grounding integrity, operation status, body and dedicated power supply equipment of six charging piles. They focused on checking for any damage or aging components such as charging guns and power wiring, promptly eliminating potential operation hazards of the charging pile equipment to ensure the normal operation of the charging piles and efficient and convenient charging for customers. At the same time, they also took the initiative to provide on-site charging guidance to electric vehicle owners, guided passing vehicles to charge in an orderly manner, explained and publicized the knowledge of safe electricity use, and popularized charging safety knowledge.
The State Grid Liaocheng Power Supply Company has carried out charging data analysis and prediction involving four rounds of special inspections on the charging facilities and auxiliary facilities such as fire-fighting equipment in the city's expressway service areas and popular charging stations to ensure the safe and stable operation of charging equipment and to meet the charging needs of vehicle owners during their trips. Moreover, relying on the State Grid Smart Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) platform, the company conducts 24-hour online operation monitoring. Through the "Internet + professional service" lean operation and maintenance system for charging facilities, it carries out tasks such as online and offline inspections of charging facilities, handling of typical problems, and on-site charging services. These measures effectively guarantee the safe and stable operation of charging facilities and provide new energy vehicle owners with a safer, higher-quality, and more convenient charging experience.
Ru Ruirui, the smart power consumption specialist of the Marketing Department of the company, stated that this station is a popular high-speed charging site. Before the festival, they specifically added a mobile emergency charging pile to deal with the queuing situation during the charging peak, thus shortening the charging waiting time for new energy vehicle owners.
