The Jilin Provincial Song and Dance Troupe performed the dance drama Human · Ginseng on Friday and Saturday in Changchun, capital of Northeast China's Jilin province, presenting the fusion of traditional dance performance and modern technology.

Based on the legend of Changbai Mountain's ginseng, the drama presented the emotional conflicts between humans and ginseng through the growth and transformation of its characters.

It delved into the regional culture of Jilin, including the ginseng culture of Changbai Mountain, Shaman culture and northeastern folk customs.

By integrating the essence of northeastern yangko dance, handkerchief acrobatics and fan tossing, the drama interprets the human warmth of mythological characters and breathes new artistic life into ancient legends.

The performance employs AI visual effects and lighting design to break the traditional light and color range constraints. The light and shadow language externalizes the characters' inner emotions. It builds a multidimensional construction of people, scenery and emotions, providing the audience with a stunning audiovisual impact and an immersive stage experience.
