China confident in weathering US tariff pressure, economist says

Justin Yifu Lin, former chief economist of the World Bank and dean of the Institute of New Structural Economics at Peking University, said during an interview with #ChinaPerspectives that as an economy that focuses on domestic circulation as the primary engine, China can achieve an expected growth of around 5 percent this year by effectively utilizing its advantages and policy tools. China maintaining its development is good news for the whole world, due to China's development is through greater openness, and China's growth will bring more opportunities for other countries worldwide.
