Wuxi National Hi-Tech District launched its Intellectual Property Publicity Week on April 24, along with a series of activities focused on boosting enterprise innovation and IP protection. The week-long campaign features practical training sessions tailored to the real needs of businesses, covering topics such as policy interpretation, IP management, rights protection, and risk control.

WND will also formulate its "15th Five-Year Plan for IP Development" to harness the power of new quality productive forces and further promote high-quality economic and social development.

The event also marked the inauguration of the Jiangsu Provincial IP Public Service Site and the WND Mediation Committee for IP Disputes. These additions will strengthen WND's IP protection assistance system and improve the diversified dispute resolution mechanism.

In a significant move toward financial innovation, the district also witnessed the signing of the Feifeng Series IP Securitization Project, which will deepen the integration of finance and IP and offer businesses expanded access to financing.

In 2024, WND saw a nearly 30 percent increase in newly authorized invention patents and accounted for about half of all new overseas patent applications in Wuxi. Notably, its project supporting the industrialization of integrated circuit technology patents was selected by the China National Intellectual Property Administration as an exemplary case — the only one in Jiangsu province.
