Sanya to kick off citywide coconut carnival during May Day holiday

Recently, Fu Qingping, a sanitation worker in Sanya, opened a few fresh coconuts and offered them to tourists. This act of generosity was shared online, prompting netizens to commend the authentic hospitality displayed by the local residents of Sanya.

From May 1 to 5, Sanya will kick off a citywide coconut carnival! You might stumble upon this refreshing surprise, whether at the airport, train station, scenic beaches, or in the city's streets and alleys.

Sanya Phoneix International Airport and Sanya Station: You will find coconut distribution points at this location. Volunteers will provide free coconuts to welcome you as soon as you arrive.

Beach Activities: Coconut-themed parks will be set up at Sanya Bay and Dadonghai, featuring giant coconut trees, coconut mascots, and photo-worthy installations. Join in the fun with coconut-drinking contests, coconut tree-climbing competitions, and more!  

Coconut Carts: These carts will roam the streets of Sanya, handing out free fresh coconuts to lucky passersby. Come to Sanya and see if you can spot one！
