Wanda Hotels opens latest overseas property in Chiang Mai

Wanda Hotels & Resorts officially opened its latest overseas property, Wanda Vista Resort Khum Wang Nuea Chiang Mai in May, marking the brand's third international project under the Wanda Vista label. Located in San Kamphaeng district, Chiang Mai, the resort reflects architectural and cultural influences from Thailand's Lanna Dynasty.

The resort comprises 29 guest accommodations, including rooms, suites, and villas, all constructed using rare wood materials and featuring intricate hand-carved details completed over several years by local artisans. The overall design draws from the concept of a secluded retreat, integrating traditional Lanna aesthetics with natural landscaping.

The property includes a Thai-fusion restaurant, a poolside bar, fitness facilities, and a spa. A variety of on-site activities are offered, including craft workshops, yoga sessions, and culinary experiences. The location is adjacent to a golf course and close to local attractions such as hot springs and artisanal villages.

Wanda Hotels & Resorts is currently preparing several other international projects in regions including Southeast Asia, Japan, and Southern Europe, reflecting the group's ongoing efforts to establish a broader presence in the global hospitality market.
