Macao to host 16th intl infrastructure investment forum in June
MACAO -- The 16th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum & Exhibition (IIICF) will be held in China's Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) from June 10-12, the SAR's Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) said Wednesday.
Under the theme "Enhanced Connectivity for Win-Win Cooperation," this year's event will expand to 8,000 square meters, the IPIM noted.
The IPIM also revealed that since its initial edition, the forum and exhibition have facilitated more than 220 cooperation projects, covering transportation, housing, energy, industrial parks, engineering equipment, mineral development, and talent training.
The IIICF is an international platform for investment and infrastructure construction, jointly organized by the China International Contractors Association and the Macao Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute, with the approval of establishment by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce in 2010, according to the forum's website.
