Another follows the fatal stabbing of a college student in his 20s, sparked by an argument over whether the alcohol he and friends drank at a bar is counterfeit.

Adapted from the popular online novel Yige Xingjing De Rizi (The Life of a Criminal Police Officer), the series has achieved a 5 percent market share, amassing over 150 million views since its premiere on CCTV-8 and Tencent Video on May 5.
