As a student and researcher in environmental economics, what immediately caught my attention about Xiamen was its easily accessible natural and man-made green spaces, along with its robust electric transportation system. These features highlight the city's commitment to sustainable development and environmental stewardship, providing a fertile ground for studying the intersection of urban planning, ecology, and economic policy. The city skillfully integrates nature into its urban landscape, creating a serene green oasis amid the daily hustle and bustle. Parks, gardens, wetland reserves, green buildings and tree-lined streets are seamlessly woven into the urban fabric, offering residents and visitors alike a harmonious blend of natural beauty and metropolitan vitality.

The advanced features of the Hairun terminal boost Xiamen's economy and also significantly contribute to China's overall economic growth.
