A: Overseas professional visitors of the eighth CIIE refer to industry insiders from overseas enterprises, government organs, public institutions, social organizations, etc. corresponding to the industry setting of the exhibition area of the eighth CIIE.

2. How can an overseas professional visitor sign up to visit the eighth CIIE?

A: Please sign up online: visit the official website of the CIIE (www.ciie.org), select Business Exhibition — Visitor — Registration, and then fill in the information of your enterprise and all the people who will attend, visit or purchase at the CIIE. Only once your review passes and the payment is completed can you be admitted to the eighth CIIE.

After registration, overseas professional visitors can visit www.ciie.org and click the Business Exhibition — Visitor — Sign in columns in sequence to review and modify the information that you have already submitted, and can check the progress of relevant processes including those for reviews, certificate making, and certificate issuing.

All overseas professional visitors shall register online in advance, as on-site regular registration for the eighth CIIE will not be allowed.

3. Can overseas professional visitors naturally become eligible for admission by registration?

A: After overseas professional visitors’ successful registration, filling in the affiliations and personnel information as required, the review for such information will commence, after which certificate-making and issuing will occur if all the information passes the review and the payment is completed. After obtaining their certificates, overseas professional visitors can visit the exhibition in accordance with relevant stipulations.

4. How do overseas professional visitors check the registration progress after registration?

A: After overseas professional visitors register on the official website of CIIE, their review results will be sent to the e-mail addresses they used during registration.

Overseas professional visitors can also check the registration progress by logging into columns Business Exhibition — Visitor — Sign in on the official website of the CIIE (www.ciie.org).

5. How can overseas professional visitors who have passed information reviews get their admission certificates?

A: Overseas professional visitors can choose either way to pick up their certificates, namely, by express delivery (only available to addresses on the Chinese Mainland) or claiming the certificates on site. If you have a delivery address on the Chinese Mainland, express delivery is recommended, and there is no need to pay extra express delivery fees. If you choose this way, please fill in a valid address within 6 months. After the certificates are sent, professional visitors can log onto the official website of the CIIE and click the Business Exhibition—Visitor —Sign in columns in sequence to view express information. For overseas professional visitors who choose to claim certificates on site, the time and place of collecting the certificate will be informed through an email and the registration system.

6. Where will the eighth CIIE be held?

A: The eighth CIIE will be held in the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) from November 5 to 10, 2025.

7. Can the personnel information for admission be changed or modified after registration?

A: When registering, overseas professional visitors need to fill in the information of their affiliations and their personal information before entering the review process. The personal information can be modified before submission, and more personal information can be added before the deadline for registration. Personnel information cannot be modified if submitted.

8. What are the visit dates for overseas professional visitors?

A: November 6 to 10, 2025. Please register on the official website of the CIIE before the deadline.

9. How can foreign nationals get invitation letters?

A: After foreign nationals complete the registration process for the China International Import Expo, they can sign in the official website and click Application for personnel certificates — Apply Invitation Letter. They can simply click on it to apply for invitation letters. Once their review passes can they download the invitation letters.

10. Do overseas professional visitors need to pay for the certificates?

A: The overseas professional visitors need to pay for the certificates. The fee is:

November 6 to 10: 200 yuan/piece

November 8 to 10: 100 yuan/piece

11. How do overseas professional visitors pay for the certificates？

A: There are two payment methods for the overseas professional visitors.

(1) Scan payment, including Union Pay, WeChat, Alipay, etc.;

(2) Transactions from five major international credit card organizations, including MasterCard, Visa, JCB, Diners Club and China Union Pay, as well as mainstream electronic wallets, including but not limited to Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.

12. When is the registration and payment deadline for overseas professional visitors？

A: The registration and payment deadline for overseas professional visitors will be 24:00 on October 20, 2025 (Beijing Time). Please register and pay at CIIE official website in time.

13. If an overseas professional visitor has paid for a certificate but cannot participate in the expo, can the certificate be refunded? Or, can someone else be admitted?

A: After payment, personnel information review procedures will commence. If personnel reviews fail, overseas professional visitors can enter the official website of the CIIE and click the Business Exhibition-Visitor -Sign in in sequence to process a refund according to the e-mail. If the exchange profit or loss occurs due to exchange rate fluctuations during the refund, the professional visitor shall bear and handle the refund together. The certificate-making process will automatically commence upon review and approval, after which no refunds or replacements can be processed.
