A golden sea of sunflowers is blooming in Changfeng village of Huangqu town, Dunhuang city, Gansu province. As gentle breezes sweep through, the golden sunflowers sway gracefully, creating an endless expanse of golden hues.
In recent years, Huangqu town has been restructuring its agricultural planting systems and developing characteristic industries according to local advantages. Efforts have been made to expand its sunflower farms to hundreds of hectares, select superior sunflower varieties for farmers, improve agricultural techniques, and expand sales channels.
These moves have improved the area's rural environment, increased the income of the locals, and promoted the vitalization of rural industries.
