New low-altitude economy products to make debut at Shanghai expo

A number of the latest products in the air mobility sector are set to make their debut at the first Advanced Air Mobility Expo, which will be held in Shanghai from July 23 to 26, organizers said Tuesday at a news conference.

Aiming to enhance the practical application of advanced air mobility and boost the development of the low-altitude economy, the expo has attracted the participation of almost 300 exhibitors from across the world, with organizers expecting more than 50,000 visitors.

Drones and electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft are expected to be the highlight at the expo, with a number of the latest offerings to be unveiled for the first time.

Vector5, the world's first large payload eVTOL aircraft designed specifically for medical emergency medical service (EMS) and search and rescue (SAR), the air traffic safety and security management platform developed by Genenkosy and the large fixed-wing intelligent unmanned aircraft AI-101 will all make their world debut at the expo. Hydrogen drone H100, amphibian aircraft RC-3 Seabee and the eVTOL simulator Qianmi No 1 will make their China debut at the expo.

In addition to products and solutions, the expo will also feature more than 30 forums, building platforms for global exchanges on the integration of technologies, capital, talents and policies to boost the high-quality development of low-altitude economy. Representatives from European and Singaporean aviation authorities, as well as business leaders including Vertical Aerospace from the United Kingdom, Eve Air Mobility from Brazil and Italian giant Leonardo will join the forum sessions.

Oranizers have also pointed out that a high-level indoor drone football competition will also take place during the expo, offering visitors a combined sports and technology feast.
