Office life under the spotlight
Health, sustainability, and work-life balance in the office will be under the spotlight at the first Beijing CBD Vitality Festival which opened this week at the China Central Place, Beijing.
The Void Tipping Point exhibition explores the mental and sensory experience of office work through interactive installations. It includes collaborative displays from multiple brands and invites visitors to reflect on stress, fatigue and recovery in the workplace. Online discussions, such as #100WaysToRechargeAtWork, extend the conversation beyond the venue.
A parallel initiative encourages recycling of unused charging devices, aligning with local efforts to promote low-carbon, sustainable practices in the CBD.
Over 20 workshops and events are also taking place, covering topics such as fitness, mental wellness, and preventive health. The program supports China's "Year of Weight Management" campaign and aims to offer practical tools for healthier office routines.
The workshops run through to the end of July.
