In August, the view of sunrise over red clouds at Dongjiang Bay in Zixing, Hunan province, can be stunning. At dawn, the eastern horizon begins to take on a milky-white hue, while Dongjiang Bay is still shrouded in mist — a veil of calm mystery.
A ray of sunlight pierces the mist and falls on the river's surface, instantly reflecting ripples of golden light.
