Hundreds of couples lined up to receive their marriage certificates at Xingfuba Metro Station in Hefei, Anhui, on Friday, to coincide with this year's Qixi Festival, also known as Chinese Valentine's Day. The station's name, Xingfuba, literally means "Happy Dam".
As the first metro station in China to feature a marriage registration office, Xingfuba has become the "starting point" for many local couples' married lives and a popular attraction for visitors.
A group of international bloggers passing through the station were impressed, with one saying, "Come to Hefei, be happy!"
