SCO provides a platform for Global South voices

At the 2025 Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit held in Tianjin, renowned Indian news anchor Rahul Shivshankar emphasized that for the Global South, having a platform to collectively voice opinions and convey messages to the rest of the world — particularly to Western developed economies — is of utmost importance. From this perspective, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization serves as a critically significant platform.
