China's progress in IP protection impresses foreign companies

"We're moving from a more defensive mode where we were trying to protect our IP to now engaging, collaborating and enjoying the development of the capabilities and innovation here in China." said Ian Shih, president of Rockwell Automation China, at the "CEO: Grow with China" roundtable on Sept 12. He went on to add that their purpose is to engage and collaborate with local companies, enabling their industrialization to break the barriers between IP and GDP.
