"Health cannot be measured by money," says Maimaiti Abdullah Abdurahman, a practitioner and inheritor of Uygur medicine with 20 years of experience from Hotan, China's Xinjiang. His family has studied and practiced Uygur medicine for generations. Regardless of ethnicity or region, all patients receive free medical care and are treated equally at his clinic.
