"The vitality of a dancer can last until the final moment of his life," said Yumiti, a dancer from China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region. From leaving home at 12 to train in Beijing to fame with his dance piece A Lovely Rose, and dancing at the Spring Festival Gala, he constantly explores how dance can represent Xinjiang and resonate with people of all backgrounds.
