72nd Macao Grand Prix to kick off in November
MACAO -- The 72nd Macao Grand Prix, the annual international motorsport event of China's Macao Special Administrative Region, will take place from Nov 13 to 16 this year, the organizing committee confirmed on Monday.
The Macao Grand Prix Organizing Committee (MGPOC) said that the event will feature seven races: Macao Grand Prix - FIA FR World Cup, Macao GT Cup - FIA GT World Cup, Macao Guia Race - Kumho FIA TCR World Tour Event of Macao, Macao Formula 4 Race - FIA F4 World Cup, Macao Motorcycle Grand Prix - 57th Edition, Greater Bay Area GT Cup (GT4), and Macao Roadsport Challenge.
According to the MGPOC, a series of peripheral activities will also be held in the coming weeks. For instance, the Macao Grand Prix Family Carnival will be held at Tap Seac Square on Nov 1 and 2, followed by an auto show at the same venue on Nov 8 and 9.
To further promote motorsport culture, the committee added, the photography contest will continue this year.
