Amid growing geopolitical conflicts, the rise of unilateralism and protectionism, and challenges such as the United States' withdrawal from the Paris Agreement once again, all parties are paying close attention to this conference. COP30 is seen as a pivotal moment in the 35-year history of global cooperation on tackling climate change, building on past achievements and paving the way for future efforts. The conference should reaffirm support for the Paris Agreement, emphasize the irreversibility of the global energy transition, confirm financial and technological support for developing countries, and ensure a fair and equitable international environment for a just global transition. China will work closely with all parties to actively contribute to the success of COP30.
