Top political advisor calls for study, implementation of guiding principles of CPC plenum
BEIJING -- China's top political advisor Wang Huning on Monday urged efforts to study and implement the guiding principles of the fourth plenary session of the 20th Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee.
Wang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), made the remarks while addressing a meeting of the Chairperson's Council of the CPPCC National Committee.
Wang called on political advisors to apply the guiding principles of the key Party plenum when performing their duties, and to actively offer suggestions.
He urged them to ensure high-quality work this year, and to plan next year's work with a focus on the central tasks of the Party and the state.
He also said that they should contribute advice and strength to the formulation and implementation of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30).
