Shangri-La expands Shanghai footprint with dual-branded Hongqiao hotels

In late October, Shangri-La Group, a world-renowned hotel and property developer, owner, and manager, opened a dual-branded development in Hongqiao, Shanghai. Shangri-La Hongqiao Airport and Traders Hongqiao Airport mark the Group’s fifth hotel project in the city. This opening reinforces Shanghai’s role as a hub for international exchange. Through a dual-brand approach, the project caters to the diverse needs of varied customer segments.

Conveniently connected to Terminal 2 of Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, the high-speed rail station, and the city's metro network, the hotel ensures effortless travel to downtown Shanghai and major cities throughout the Yangtze River Delta, such as Suzhou, Hangzhou, and Nanjing — all accessible within an hour.
