"So I think now the upcoming changes in Hainan will be a very important showcase that China will keep its commitment," said Cui Hongjian, head of the European Union and Regional Development Research Center at Beijing Foreign Studies University. Speaking of China's Hainan Free Trade Port, he also mentioned that once there are some very successful models for Hainan or other regions of China, it will give stronger confidence to the international community, making them realize that we should continue our development on the road of globalization.
