GE HealthCare expands with new R&D center

GE HealthCare opened a new research and development center in North China's Tianjin municipality this week, marking a significant expansion of its innovation operations in China's healthcare market. The facility serves as the company's only system-level magnetic resonance imaging research base outside the United States.

High-speed rail safety bolstered

In response to falling temperatures, Taiyuan High-speed Railway Engineering Section has made meticulous inspection and repair efforts, addressing possible defects caused by low temperatures, and ensuring the absolute safety of HSR lines. By analyzing the changing patterns of rail performance, the section has clarified risk levels and shortened the inspection cycle and flaw-detection cycle for key locations. It has also bolstered the quality upgrade of track equipment and taken multiple measures to ensure the stability of the track structure.
