Guangdong cities host concurrent marathon events

Several cities across Guangdong province hosted marathons on Sunday, with crowds of participants running along race tracks past cultural landmarks.
In Huangpu district of Guangzhou, the provincial capital, more than 20,000 runners took part in a marathon that passed through a modern industrial zone in the downtown area and several typical villages.
