Sea of clouds creates picturesque scene in Yunnan

Each winter, a sea of clouds forms over Lincang in Yunnan province, drawing visitors to the valleys of the Lancang River, according to Lincang Daily.
Before sunrise, mist drifts through the mountains, briefly revealing villages and roads below. As daylight breaks, a sharp beam of sunlight cuts through the clouds and turns the landscape into a shifting scene of light and shadow.
For many, winter in Lincang is less about sightseeing and more about stepping into the moment.
