The 21st High-End Industry and Talent Cooperation Conference recently opened in Tongzhou district, Nantong.

The event convened more than 200 experts from universities and research institutes, business leaders from China and abroad, and high-level innovation and entrepreneurship talent.

During the opening ceremony, an overseas talent workstation was established. A work plan for future industries was launched alongside several measures to support the high-quality development of talent in the field of artificial intelligence. Funds for the embodied intelligence sector were also unveiled.

Awards were presented to winning projects from the 10th Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, individuals and teams from the 2025 Jiangsu "Double Innovation Program", as well as projects funded by the 2025 Tongzhou "510 Talent Program", the 2025 Nantong "Jianghai Talent Program", and the 2025 Jiangsu "Double Innovation Doctor Program".

The event also saw the signing of strategic cooperation agreements between universities, localities, and enterprises. A research center jointly established by the Nantong Advanced Technology Research Institute of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and four local enterprises was officially inaugurated.

At the ceremony, a number of projects related to industry, technology, and talent were signed.

The conference serves as a comprehensive platform for attracting talent, technology, projects, and capital to Tongzhou. Thanks to the 20 previous editions, the district has attracted 1,156 high-level innovation and entrepreneurship talent, 95 projects selected for the provincial "Double Innovation Program", 205 projects for the city's "Jianghai Talent Program", and over 400 projects funded by the district's "510 Talent Program".
