China Coast Guard: Trilateral cooperation sets drug seizure record

"Combating drug-related crime is a statutory duty of the China Coast Guard," said a China Coast Guard official. He highlighted a joint operation on February 24 last year with Thailand and the US, which seized about five tons of methamphetamine, the largest single maritime drug seizure in the Asia-Pacific region in recent years. He called this success a "model for international law enforcement collaboration".
