NPC deputies share the choices they made in youth

If anxiety was an exam question, China Daily reporter Peng Yixuan has found its answer at the Great Hall of the People. Deputies to the 14th National People's Congress attended a group interview on Thursday. Among them were Nong Jiagui, a rural teacher who has dedicated 40 years to a village primary school and guided 126 children out of the mountains; Xu Shixiao, an athlete who made a comeback at 25 and secured consecutive Olympic gold medals; and Wang Wenyi, a young pilot dedicated to safeguarding our nation and its people.
