Tourism: Hilton to double China hotels

Hilton Hotels Corp. plans to double the number of hotels under its management
in China in the next several years, the company said in a statement
Thursday.
The international hotel company, which now manages five hotels in China,
plans to open the Hilton Hefei in eastern China’s Anhui Province by the end of
2006. Plans are under way for hotels in Shanghai, Macao, Xiamen and Shanxi
Province, the company said.
