Shenyang Aerospace Mitsubishi Motors Engine Manufacturing Co Ltd has decided to introduce the Mitsubishi 4A9 engines with displacements of 1.3, 1.5 and 1.6 liters.

The Sino-Japanese joint venture hopes to spread its wings in the Chinese engine market as it has occupied about 30 percent of the 2.0- to 2.4-liter market segment.

The 4A9 series, new-generation engines developed by Mitsubishi Motors Corp, is internationally advanced in terms of fuel economy, environmental friendliness and small-sized body design.
