Chinese agriculture scientist Yuan Longping, also known as the father of hybrid paddy rice, visited the "Super Paddy Rice" Industrializing Center from Aug 20 to 21 in Rizhao city, eastern Shandong province. The center has 22.4 hectares of high-productivity hybrid paddy rice, including three varieties, expecting to tackle the one ton each mu output target (15 tons each hectare).
