Top 10 smart device vendors in China

The Chinese mainland has experienced exponential growth in the smart devices market, with a population of 1.38 billion owning 1.37 billion sets by the end of last year, an industry report shows.

Upgrading demand is becoming a new driving force, as the market becomes saturated, said independent data service provider TalkingData, which tracks sales of smartphone, tablet and wearable devices.

While users from first-tier cities prefer Apple, OPPO and Vivo are better received in third-tier cities, according to the report.
