Insurance practitioners checked

Sources from the Insurance Association of China said that the program to certify life insurance practitioners, sponsored and promoted by theChina Insurance Regulatory Commission, is well under way.

The program, intended to award certificates to life insurance practitioners, was started at the end of 2002 and put on trial in March 2005 and has formally been in operation since 2006. The program is becoming well-known and accepted by practitioners.

The program is designed according to a regulatory arrangement by the commission and suitable to the objective conditions of the industry.
