China tightens management of insurance salespeople

Insurance companies are required to keep enhancing management of their salespeople, maintain stabilities of the marketing force, and improve the quality of their sales force, said the China Insurance Regulatory Commission in a recent notice.

According to the notice, salespeople in service are forbidden from running job fairs and publishing job vacancies and may not misguide job seekers by any means to take up insurance marketing.
