Baosteel sees steel demand remain steady next year

SHANGHAI - China Baoshan Iron & Steel, the country's biggest listed steelmaker, says steel demand will remain steady next year, a company executive said.

The steel sector would face many uncertainties, but steel demand would see neither a big increase or a very negative impact, Ma Guoqiang, the company's general manager, told an online conference on Monday.
