BEIJING - China's stocks closed mixed Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.12 percent, or 3.27 points, to close at 2,823.45.
The Shenzhen Component Index lost 0.21 percent, or 25.9 points, to end at 12,310.38.
Combined turnover shrank from Tuesday's 334.3 billion yuan ($50.1 billion) to 200.5 billion yuan.
