China stocks close up Friday

BEIJING - Chinese shares higher Friday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 1.07 percent, or 30.09, to end at 2,841.04.
The Shenzhen Component Index closed up 0.87 percent, or 107.2 points, to end at 12,460.46.
Total turnover shrank to 186.98 billion yuan ($28.10 billion) from 204.08 billion yuan on the previous trading day.
Gainers outnumbered losers by 798 to 108 in Shanghai and 1,027 to 159 in Shenzhen.
