HONG KONG - Hong Kong stocks closed down 455. 41 points, or 1.97 percent, at 22,708.62 on Thursday.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 23,069.42 and 22, 668.02. Turnover totaled HK$97.69 billion ($12.54 billion), compared with Wednesday's HK$90.02 billion.
