Gold price closes lower in Hong Kong -- May 12

HONG KONG-- The gold price in Hong Kong moved down HK$ 308 to close at HK$13,848 per tael on Thursday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.
The price is equivalent to $1,495.47 a troy ounce, down $33.46 at the latest exchange rate of $1 against HK$7.773.
