VAMED Healthcare China held a "VAMED Health Day" to celebrate Christmas and welcome the New Year. All the participants had a joyful day at the Wish restaurant and VAMED advocated the concept, "Health Naturally."

On the event, Dr Oskar Andesner, the Commercial Counsellor for China and Austrian Embassy Commercial Section, congratulated Sino-Austria after 40 years of diplomatic relations. China is Austria's second largest overseas market, one of our Top-suppliers worldwide and our most important trading partner in Asia. He expects that Sino-Austrian will deepen cooperation in the healthcare field.

Mr Mirsad Midzic, Managing Director of VAMED Health Care China, explained in his speech that a healthy lifestyle for our families and friends is the key focus for China. The Chinese government puts a great deal of importance on the wellbeing of its citizens. This year, contracts with hospitals and health bureaus in Anhui, Henan, Hubei, Jiangxi, Ningxia, Sichuan, Yunnan, Zhejiang and Hainan were signed. VAMED plans on contributing to the building and running of facilities such as, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, wellness centers and homes for the elderly.

VAMED donated 30000 yuan to "Care for Children", and Mr. Mirsad Midzic spoke on behalf of VAMED staff, stating that they wanted to do something good while advocating a healthy lifestyle. He mentioned that during this time we should, "love ourselves and love others."

Professor Zhao Mei, psychologist and professional doctor of the Beijing Tongren hospital, also offered consultancy work during the event. She mentioned that people are often very busy and under pressure from their work life. They must focus on their individual health and place importance on the harmony of their body and mind. She advocated that we should rest and listen to our inner body, find out what we really want and then love ourselves.

On the event, the management of VAMED Healthcare China invited Taiji Master, Chinese traditional acupuncturist and doctor to have a massage to service for participants. This showed their care for the business partners and VAMED employees.

Participants enjoyed food low in salt and oil, learnt about how to live a healthy life and enjoyed the harmony of Sino-Austria culture.
