Ctrip.com, a leading online travel agency, has introduced many kinds of group tours and self-guided tour routes. Beijing candidates can get a 100 yuan discount when they present their exam entrance ticket.

Students rarely choose a star-rated hotel, preferring the features and atmosphere of inns and youth hostels instead, Wang Jing, senior director of hotel in Qunar.com, another online travel site, told Beijing Times.
