The office is the first of its kind in the Chinese trust industry.
Insiders in the trust industry in Shanghai said the family management office will mainly provide services such as wealth management, life planning, family successors' training and corporate governance, to high net value customers.
In addition to the family management office, Shanghai International Trust also set up a consultancy team for family enterprise development, a management team for family affairs and a management team for family wealth investment, so the company can provide tailored wealth trust plans.
