Cat milestone

On the eve of the Chengdu Motor Show, executive vice president of Jaguar?China, Bob Grace joined 200 journalists from across China as well as car owners, potential customers and dealers to celebrate the gala unveiling of the full XF family - XF, XF Sportbrake, and XF R-Sport - in China, culminating another milestone for the leaping cat in the country.

The event told an intriguing story, interpreting the XF family through "a day of surprise" performance: dancers dressed like British gentlemen cheered in the rain in an early morning with the XF elegantly cruising around, displaying a look of contemporary sporting elegance and refined power.

Then the background changed into a laid-back afternoon, when the XF Sportbrake grabbed the spotlight as the most versatile derivative of the Jaguar XF.

Chen Man, a well-known visual artist, added another highlight in the event when she kicked off her cooperation with Jaguar on XF photographic artwork.

In the final chapter, the scene changed to late night when the XF R-Sport took center stage against a fantastic light show. Its unique, assertive body styling again illustrated utterly the unmistakable Jaguar sporting lineage.

Through such dynamic music and creative performance, Jaguar clearly underlines the characters of each XF products: XF representing stylish substance, XF Sportbrake embodying seductive space, and XF R S boasting sporty style.

A display of the full Jaguar lineup in China is also available at the Jaguar Land Rover stand at the Chengdu Motor Show. Other eye-catching Jaguar models include F-TYPE Coupe, F-TYPE Convertible and XJL.

"A good product must resonate with customers," said May Che, executive vice president of Jaguar China. "That's why we have launched tailor-made campaigns focusing on music, sports and travelling to get closer to customers."

While Jaguar is leaping on its journey of "Never Stop Achieving," Land Rover is gearing up in its pursuit of "Above and Beyond".
